Skywriters: the beginning…

Skywriters is a social enterprise that supports individuals, communities and businesses with confidence, self-esteem, personal development, cohesion and social impact through creative education.
During 2020 we experienced isolation and soaring mental health issues as a result of a worldwide pandemic. I wanted to create a community that even in the face of so much sorrow, lifts heads and spirits, encouraging us to achieve our hopes, dreams and aspirations.
Our Name
The term ‘Skywriter’ is originally used to describe the process of using aircraft to expel smoke during flight, creating writing readable from the ground. There’s something captivating about this idea, the image of crowds of people looking skywards for exciting messages.
I write through all seasons; when I’m happy, sad, anxious, excited. I also write to plan for my future, to move myself from A to B. Using creativity to develop and grow is empowering. I want us all to be able to #WriteTheSky, to develop, grow and put our messages up there for others to marvel at.
Skywriters is a platform, a community and creative educational experience that supports you to be the best you can be.
We’re often told to reach for the stars but the sky is so much bigger!
