Scouse Christmas Stockings

Scouse Christmas Stockings is a group of Merseyside women activists who are organising a foodbank drive and Christmas Stocking appeal for kids this festive period. Skywriters will be supporting this initiative as our first activist project.

It is crucial more so than ever in ‘these precarious times’ that we keep support consistent and that our communities stand infinitely together when we are all only a circumstance away from hardship. If you can spare a single can from your weekly shop, it might make all the difference to somebody who can’t.

We are organising two initiatives to support foodbanks and families this year.

Food Bank Drive 🎅🏿🤶🏾
Event one is a foodbank drive on Thursday 3rd December. We will be in Williamson Square and collecting donations for our local foodbanks. Time TBC. Anyone that wants to drop food items to us on this date can or alternatively can donate to a foodbank local to them.

Stockings 🎅🏿🤶🏾
We will be asking people to either buy a stocking and fill it and drop to a donation point OR order online stocking fillers to a central address supplied by us.
